The Beresford Caiman SEG Digital to Analogue Converter was designed with the sole aim of recovering and reproducing the analogue parts of the digital encoded signal, without the digital artefacts. The Caiman SEG handles the music with an air of grace and effortless emotion that few far more expensive DACs can manage, let alone surpass. From the pace and depth accurate bass, to the spine tingling detail across the audio spectrum; the Caiman SEG will raise your musical enjoyment to new heights. Just like the legendary Caiman TC-7520SEG, the Caiman SEG is a complete internal redesign of the Caiman MKII. Its main purpose is getting the best possible sound from any of your source devices. This required a redesign of the case, a new PCB, and a new Firmware. The all new discrete transistors audio buffer adds an extra level of musicality to the sound of the headphone and pre-amplifier output. Separate Left and Right power, signal, and ground wiring also add to a better signal separation and soundstage.     Features and functions unique to the Caiman SEG: Individual input programmable multi options re-clocking circuit to allow for a better match between each source and DAC clocking accuracy. True dimming of the LEDs. Adjustable headphone impedance gain setting. Discrete headphone amplifier buffer. Discrete transistor audio buffer and impedance matching circuit in the pre-amplifier circuit.
